Terms and conditions
Offer is for new clients only. If mediation is suitable for your case you may want to consider a local mediation service. Offer includes the signing and sending of the relevant form for court by an accredited family mediator. Payment due at time of booking appointment. We do not currently offer legal aid for online bookings.
What is a MIAM
A MIAM is a Mediation Information & Assessment Meeting. We tell you about mediation and what it involves, and we answer any questions you may have. This should enable you to make a decision on whether family mediation is suitable. In some cases, we may decide mediation is unsuitable for your case. Our online service is suitable where mediation is unlikely to take place or not required.
Most people who need to file an application to the court for a family matter, whether on finances (Form A) or parenting (C100), will need a MIAM. There are some exceptions (such as where there has been domestic abuse evidenced in the relationship.) We can tell you whether you should need a MIAM or not.
